About

Green Fuz started in 2012 when close pals Sonny, Scott & Cassie sewed a couple of board bags from fabric they scored at a local mart. One Instagram post later, a surf shop in town hit us up for an order, and Green Fuz was born.

For the first year, we cut, dyed, and sewed every bag in our apartments. Before long, an upholstery shop in San Clemente offered up their space at night, and it was on. There, we were able to refine our bags using professional industrial equipment and keep up with the orders we were getting. We lived there for a few years. The passion was real!

Today, Green Fuz bags are still handmade locally by skilled sewers here in Southern California, with hands deeply rooted in surfing. This lets us balance family life (we had kids!), full-time jobs, surfing, and playing music, while keeping quality high and production small.

Over the years, we’ve been lucky to make board bags for surfers around the world and team up with some really rad, like-minded people.

At its core, Green Fuz has always been a creative outlet, more like a hobby than business. We get psyched seeing the bags in the wild, and we’re proud to play a small part in the surf community.
